About Capt. Barry Brimacomb

Whether you’re a fisher-person, photographer, or bird watcher, Capt. Barry will guide you into the depths of the Lake Worth lagoon. From the many spoil islands created by the Corps. of Engineers in the early 1900s to the newest habitat enhancement projects, such as: Munyon Island, John’s Island, and the Snook Islands.

Captain Barry Brimacomb, resides in Lake Worth, Florida and has been fishing Palm Beach County waters for decades. One of his specialties is light tackle and fly fishing in the Lake Worth Lagoon aboard his skiff the Lagoonatic. Barry is a 15 year member of the West Palm Beach Fishing Club and an active member of its Board of directors. Capt. Barry holds several of West Palm Beach Fishing Club’s line class records.

The Lagoon holds Trophy-sized Snook, Tarpon, and Jack Crevalle can be taken on light tackle, as can Bonefish, Barracuda, and Mangrove Snapper, which are also year round residents.

Palm Beach County also offers some great fresh water opportunities Large-mouth Bass, Peacock Bass and hard hitting Ciclads.
